"Susan was a breath of fresh air. She pulled together what was a series of individual plans into an overall home design that worked together to meet my desired look and feel for my home. She then began to present me with design choices to bring the plans to life. She incorporated my questions and concerns into the products we ultimately selected and provided excellent advice in areas where I was unsure. Moreover, Susan took the design several steps further than I ever could have presenting me with options I loved but was not aware of. She explained how key options worked together to bring together the entire home. She then assigned Katrin, one of her project managers to the project, to establish a timeline for material delivery to the various contractors and subcontractors. Katrin was vigilant about keeping the project moving and monitoring all the work persons so the project moved forward."

"After consulting with us in our home and making a careful review of our tastes, needs, and existing furniture and decor, Susan developed a coherent plan for all the rooms on the first floor: entry hall, living room, dining room, library, powder room, and kitchen. This entailed repainting or wallpapering the walls, refinishing the floors, selecting new furniture as well as reupholstering and repairing some existing furniture, and adapting existing rugs and drapes to different spaces. On the second floor, it meant making similar changes to the master bedroom as well as an extensive remodeling of two bathrooms. And all this needed to be completed on a tight timeframe to be ready by the time of a mid-summer wedding.
Susan set about this project with great energy and efficiency. With her very able and helpful assistant Erin, she presented us with ideas and options; lined up the various contractors; and executed the plans. Her terrific color sense, eye for pleasing and practical design and high quality, and long experience identifying and supervising crews of excellent trades people, she and Erin have produced lovely results."

Dearest Susan:
"We know it's only been two years since we've had the opportunity to meet and begin to work together, but we feel like we have known you our entire lives. Our home is just beautiful. You have transformed room, after room, after room into just the perfect balance of what we like and are interested in, but even more so, you have pushed us to define a style that is our own. We could not have done anything even remotely like this without you and your team.
During the remodel of our home, you had the vision to see unfinished spaces and work with the builder to influence particular projects as they were in process, without disruption. Each of your suggestions improved what we were doing in our remodel. And while working with a blank canvas of sorts must seem easy to you, it was the efficiency you brought to our decision-making which made it such a joy to work with you. There hasn't been single person who has visited the club room and wine cellar that hasn't been in awe of the design. Our friends have taken to calling it "Never Never Land" as it has the tendency to draw one in for extended periods of a dream-like state.
As great as the club room is, we must say that we were even more impressed with your work on our existing spaces. Our living room transformation is remarkable. We didn't provide you a single input to get started and you understood our desires completely.
Greg was so impressed with your work that he asked you to go to his Boston office and design there as well. We intend to have you continue work on the family room and won't let you get away from redoing our home office early in 2009.
We just wanted to make sure you knew how much we have enjoyed working with you. In fact, the thing we are going to miss the most during our time in London this year will be our home. That is in large part due to what you have done to make it so special."
Warmest regards,
