About Susan Dearborn

Susan has taught, written about and practiced interior design since establishing her firm in 1979. After graduating from Vassar College and living in the Far East and on the West Coast, she returned to the Boston area for design school and to raise her four children. She loves what she does and imparts the enthusiasm she has for her work to her clients.

Susan Dearborn Interiors has an “A” Rating on Angie’s List and received a Houzz award for excellent service. She is an Allied Member of ASID and over 20 year member of the Boston Better Business Bureau.

Susan has moved, renovated, downsized and combined homes with children and dogs, so she understands her clients’ needs and stresses. She wants them to understand the quality and price points of what is available in the market place and what makes good design.

Susan has appeared on the HGTV national television program Interior Motives and she has hosted her own radio program called The Designing Woman. Her work has been published in magazines and books throughout the East Coast.
